Thank you for your interest in The Angel Fund. Our entire organization, Babies Gone Too Soon, Inc., sends you our deepest sympathy and support as you grieve your loss. Babies Gone Too Soon, Inc. was created in April of 2013 to offer support and resources to families who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss in the Southwest Wisconsin region. One of the areas that we felt families needed help with was with memorial and funeral expenses after such an unexpected loss of a child, and so the Angel Fund was opened. We have now expanded the Fund to assist with medical expenses for mothers as well.
Through the support of our community and fundraising, we hope that the Angel Fund can help your family with some of the financial stress of losing a baby.
To be eligible for a grant from the Angel Fund, families
must meet all of the following requirements:
-Loss of a child/baby up to age 2 years
-Loss must be less than 6 months at time of application
-Only parent(s) are eligible to complete application
-Applicants must live in Columbia, Crawford, Dane, Grant, Green, Iowa, Richland, or Sauk County of Wisconsin
-Only one grant per child lost
All applications that are accepted will be reviewed by our board of directors, and the determination of the grant will be based on available funds, the number of requests received, and amount granted may vary based on those factors.
PLEASE NOTE: All grants that are approved are paid directly to the source of the expense. Examples: Funeral Home, Newspaper, Cemetery, Church, etc. No funds will be distributed directly to the family to decrease liability and risk of fraud.
